The ETP Nanomedicine Annual Event 2013 in Grenoble (1-2 October 2013). September 2, 2013

The ETP Nanomedicine Annual Event 2013, organized by the ETP Nanomedicine, will take place in Grenoble on 1st and 2nd October 2013, and EuroNanoMed II representatives will participate.

The event will take place at MINATEC (next to the CEA Leti facilities) and will focus this year on the ongoing actions and future perspectives of the ETPN in shaping the nanomedicine landscape in Europe within Horizon 2020.

After intensive exchanges with the European Commission and many other stakeholders (including national representatives, ETPN members, and non-EU partners such as US-NCL) to push the field forward, the elaboration of an ambitious action plan, and the release of a White Paper entitled “Contributions of nanomedicine under H2020”, it will be the right time to carry out the first review of the situation before discussing the way forward and future milestones.

In order to efficiently meet its new objectives and tackle the identified needs for nanomedicine in Europe, the ETPN is undergoing a restructuration encompassing the creation of new Working Groups. Such Annual Event will be a main opportunity for the latter to be fully operational with clear and defined objectives.

For new ETPN members, this would be a major opportunity to present themselves and their activities to the community throughout these two days, notably via dedicated booths. Finally, we will offer this year on-site visits (to be confirmed by host) within the CEA and Clinatec outstanding facilities.
